Guillermo Alagadan Jr., ALS mobile teacher, revealed his plans for the opening of Alternative Learning System (ALS) classes at Santiago South Central School, Santiago, Ilocos Sur on October 9, 2020.

With the presence of Division ALS Focal Person, Digna C. Natura, Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Avelina Gatdula, Education Program Specialists for ALS, Marvin Q. Tacal and Emil R. Riodil, Alagadan said that of all the alternative learning modalities, most of his learners prepare modular distance learning option.

Since face-to-face classes are not yet allowed, mobile teacher Alagadan implemented this model wherein the combination of distance learning modalities such as printed modules and offline digital modules will be used by ALS learners.

Meanwhile, Natura applauded the efforts of Alagadan in ensuring that education of Santiago ALS learners continue amid the pandemic.
